Call for Papers for the Special Session on Transnational Entrepreneurship at the RSA Annual Conference
From the 3rd to the 6th of June 2018 Lugano, Switzerland will host the Regional Studies Association Annual Conference 2018.
In this framework there will be a special session on Transnational/International Entrepreneurship and Global Pipelines, whose convenor is INSME Board Member, Prof. Jay Mitra (Adviser to the Board of the Forum for Sustainable New Venture & Professor at the Essex Business School, University of Essex, UK) together with Dr Su-Hyun Berg (Business Consultant, Flensburg Germany) and Dr Sarika Pruthi (San Jose State University, California, USA) and interested contributors are invited to submit their papers.
The special session aims at exploring the dynamics of knowledge sourcing of transnational entrepreneurs which have produced a diverse range of investigations into the different modes of knowledge creation and diffusion in both host and home countries. The special session will focus on five key themes:
- Ontological Freshness: Transnational Ontologies
- Flows of Opportunity Development
- Fluid Dual and Multiple Habitus
- Reforming Institutions; and
- Multidimensional Networks.

Proposals for papers should be submitted through the RSA conference portal by Friday 23rd of February 2018. A copy of the abstract should also be sent to the attention of Prof. Mitra at this e-mail address.
